After last year's thank you entry, I am feeling renewed thanks are overdue. To begin with, a huge thank you to:

  • Ben Parker, Rich Hornung, Liam, Judey, Adam, John Beresford, and everyone I know from Warwick Revelation. You are all very special in my heart, and I will never be able to thank you enough for singing to me over the phone at a time when I needed it. You are most definitely the best. Thanks to the friends of Warwick Rev, including national Revvers (Ty, Hannah, Simon and many more) but not only (Larry, ...).
  • Very special thanks go to Adam, because he has been a true friend and provided support, advice - and even good friends in Lyon! Simon, John, Jess and all the crew are thanked for all the good times we spent together.
  • For Oxfam matters, the year has been troubled. Both a hats off and a massive thank you to Austin for still welcoming me into the shop prior to the troubled times of December to February, to Rob(in) (see, I put an i), Regina, for being strong in crisis. I am impressed at the level of sanity we all kept from the ordeal we went through. Thanks should also go, I believe, to everyone who helped dismantle the shop, with the notable exception of a certain Jenny. Crankiness at the time may have prevented me from seeing them for what they were - helpers who had nothing to do with the closure.
  • Warwick Student Cinema people also deserve many thanks. The list is long, and apologies to anyone I am leaving out. Thanks to: Will for the delicious food and shelter, and for the general bitching around - it was much much appreciated. Thanks to: James Mac, for letting me DM. Thanks to: George and Natalie for the Doctor Who stuff, and for many things beyond that, including a certain amount of time on the phone. Thanks to: Andy, Rob, Seb for generally being themselves and around (and to Seb for not being too freaked out in February). Thanks and congratulations to both Matts, one for becoming a Doctor, the other for stepping into the shoes of the Mac. Thanks to Kathryn for her proposed social in France (still counting on it!), to Ellie and Helen for being a good friend. And thanks to everyone else for making WSC what it is!
  • Moving from Warwick to France, huge thank yous to most of the student population of the ENS Lyon, most especially to François for the numerous Simpsons and Doctor Who episodes we've watched together, for the marvellous work he's done on the BIE website, for both concerts, for not freaking out when he could have, and for many other things. Thanks to Aurore for her continued presence and marvellous singing at Lyon Rev, and thanks for taking it over from me too! Thanks, in no particular order, to: Kush, Jürgen, Quentin, Laurie, Marine, Isaac, Nicolas, Clément, Sophie, Benoît, Léo, Antoine, Adrien, Séb, Bruno, Nathalie, Anne, Romain, Laetitia, les trois petites râleuses (massive thanks for all their hard work throughout the year), Henri, Liz and all the people I have left out, I'm sure there's many!
  • In the ENS, the staff has also been most helpful and friendly, and kind thanks go to Mrs Beylier for the great company and being so helpful throughout the year, to Elettra (your tiramisus are sorely missed), Nadine, Monique, MJ (for the gala), Annie, Claire but very special thanks to the three "receptionists", Audrey, Ludo and Piero for being able to stand awful singing on thursdays nights, providing a friendly ear, books, videos, and a smile.
  • Thanks are also in order for Laurent, Tom, Coralie, and Philippe for a great time spent in Paris and the surrounding area (despite upcoming "pales" in one case).
  • Finally, thanks to my family for their support, help and for listening to my various moanings throughout the year (very especially in February and in April to June).

Obviously, this list is not exhaustive and many more people deserve thanks from me - so if I have forgotten you, thanks! (and apologies)
